Acceptance

These terms govern your use of this website and the enquiries and quotations you receive from Pluz Logistics, a strategic sub-brand of PLUZ GROUP. By using the site or accepting a quotation you agree to them.

Scope of services

Pluz Logistics provides freight forwarding, sea freight, air freight, transportation, rail freight, third party logistics, warehousing, customs clearance, logistic consulting, hazardous cargo handling, packing and unpacking, and temperature-controlled logistics. Services are provided as described in the written quotation or booking confirmation we issue for each shipment.

We perform many services through carriers, agents and other third parties. Where we do, we act with reasonable care in selecting them, and their own terms and conditions of carriage also apply.

Quotations, rates and charges

Quotations are itemised and are based on the information you give us. They may change if that information turns out to be incomplete or inaccurate, or if carrier rates, surcharges, duties or taxes change before the shipment moves.

Statutory charges such as customs duties and taxes are set by the authorities and are collected and passed on at cost. Unless a quotation states otherwise, it is valid only for the period stated in it.

Your obligations

You agree to:

• give us complete and accurate information about the cargo, including its description, weight, dimensions, value and, where relevant, its HS code;
• pack, mark and label the cargo properly for the mode of transport;
• provide all documents and permits needed to move and clear the goods; and
• be responsible for the consequences of any inaccurate or missing information.

Dangerous and restricted goods

You must tell us before booking if the cargo is hazardous, dangerous, prohibited or subject to special regulation, and give us its classification and the documents required. We may decline or suspend a shipment that has not been properly declared, and you are responsible for any resulting cost.

Liability

We will carry out our services with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited by the conventions, laws and conditions that apply to the relevant mode of transport and by the terms of the quotation or booking confirmation, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Insurance

Carriers' liability is limited and often falls well short of the value of the goods. We recommend that you insure your cargo, and we can discuss options with you. Cargo is not insured unless insurance has been arranged and confirmed in writing.

Payment

Payment terms are stated in the quotation or invoice. Unless agreed otherwise, charges are payable in full without deduction, and we may hold cargo or documents until sums due have been paid, to the extent the law allows.

Delays and events outside our control

Transit times given are estimates only. We are not responsible for delay or loss caused by events outside our reasonable control, including weather, port or airport congestion, strikes, customs inspections, changes in law, acts of authorities and carrier schedule changes.

The content of this site is provided for general information and does not constitute advice or a binding offer. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or copy its content for commercial use without our permission.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates applicable there. The courts of Ras Al Khaimah have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last revised, and the version on this page applies to new enquiries and quotations.
