Hazardous cargo

Hazardous Cargo Handling in UAE

Chemical and other dangerous goods move under strict rules. We check the classification, the packing and the paperwork before anything is booked.

What we offer

Dangerous goods, declared and documented correctly

Hazardous cargo is accepted only when it is classified, packed, marked and documented as the rules for each mode require, and a gap at any of those steps can stop the shipment.

Chemical industries, including hazardous, are one of the sectors we serve. We work through the classification with you, confirm what the chosen mode will accept, prepare the declaration and supporting documents, and arrange customs clearance, so the cargo is not turned away at the terminal.

Classification checks

We confirm the product's hazard class and identifiers from its safety data before a mode or carrier is chosen.

Packing and labelling

Guidance on approved packaging, marking and labelling so the consignment meets the rules for its mode.

Declarations and documents

Dangerous goods declaration, safety data sheet, invoice and packing list prepared and checked.

Mode and carrier fit

Sea, air and road accept different goods in different quantities, so we match the cargo to what each will carry.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

The questions we are asked most often about this service.

The product name, its safety data sheet, the quantity and how it is packed. From those we confirm the classification and whether the mode you have in mind will accept it.

It is the signed document in which the shipper states what the dangerous goods are, how they are classified and that they are packed and marked as required. Carriers will not accept the cargo without it.

A safety data sheet is a standard document from the manufacturer or supplier that sets out a product's hazards, handling, storage and emergency measures. It is the starting point for classifying the cargo.

Some can, within strict quantity and packing limits, and some cannot be carried by air at all. Sea and road have their own limits. We check which modes will accept your product before quoting.
