Operational strengths
The requirements checked before departure rather than discovered at the border, and one set of documents that stays consistent across every leg of the journey.
Freight forwarding
We manage every stage of your cargo’s movement, from documentation through to customs clearance, combining sea, air and road into a single accountable booking.
What we offer
Freight forwarding is the service that sits over the others. Rather than booking an ocean leg here, a truck there and a customs broker separately, you describe the journey once and we assemble it.
That means choosing the mode and routing against your cost and deadline, booking the capacity, preparing the paperwork, clearing customs, and arranging collection and delivery at both ends.
Sea, air and road compared against your deadline and budget before anything is booked.
Transport documents, invoices and packing lists prepared and checked before the cargo moves.
Entries prepared and filed, with the requirements confirmed before departure rather than at the border.
Partners across more than 100 countries handling the legs we do not perform ourselves.
Industries on this service
Forwarding covers all nine of the sectors we serve, because the service is defined by the coordination rather than by the commodity.
The requirements checked before departure rather than discovered at the border, and one set of documents that stays consistent across every leg of the journey.
One point of accountability for the whole movement. When something slips, you are not arbitrating between a carrier, a broker and a haulier who each blame the other two.
Freight and customs handled together, backed by an agent network across more than 100 countries and by a founder with over 20 years in shipping and logistics.
How it works
You describe the journey and the deadline. We compare the modes and set out the options with their trade-offs.
Capacity is booked and the transport documents, invoice and packing list are prepared and checked.
Entries are filed, the cargo moves, and we coordinate the handovers between legs.
Final road leg to the receiving door, and confirmation that the consignment arrived as booked.
Why Pluz Logistics
Most freight problems happen at the joins — between modes, between countries, between the carrier and the broker. Forwarding exists to own those joins.
Transparent pricing
We separate the charges we control from the statutory ones we collect and pass on, so you can see where the money goes and compare quotes on the same basis.
The exact lines depend on the routing, the commodity and the destination. We confirm them in writing before anything is booked.
The main carriage, priced on the mode and routing booked.
Road leg to the port or airport, plus handling at origin.
Transport documents and the accompanying paperwork.
Preparing and filing the entry at each border the cargo crosses.
Handling at destination and the final road leg to the door.
Set by the authorities, collected and passed on at cost.
Other services
Most shipments use more than one of these. Tell us the whole journey and we will quote it as one.
Domestic and cross-border road transport with tracking.
A lower-cost overland option for heavy, non-urgent cargo.
Warehousing, inventory and distribution handled end to end.
Storage and inventory control before onward distribution.
Documentation and clearance so cargo is not held at the border.
Supply-chain analysis to cut cost and keep deliveries on time.
Questions
The questions we are asked most often about this service.
A carrier moves cargo between two points. A freight forwarder arranges the whole journey around that: choosing the mode and routing, booking the space, preparing and checking the documentation, handling customs clearance, and organising the road legs at each end. The practical difference is that you hold one conversation about the shipment instead of five.
If you book a single lane repeatedly, have your own documentation and customs capability and the volume to negotiate directly, you may not. A forwarder earns its place where the routing is mixed, where the paperwork is unfamiliar, where customs is involved, or where something has to be coordinated across more than one mode or country.
Sea, air and road, in whatever combination the shipment needs. Many consignments use more than one — an ocean leg with road collection and delivery, or part of an order flown while the balance sails. We quote the combination as a single movement rather than as separate bookings.
At minimum: the origin and destination, what the cargo is, its weight and dimensions, and the date it needs to arrive. If you know the Incoterm, the commodity code or any licensing requirement, send those too — they affect both the routing and the customs treatment, and they are the usual cause of a quote having to be revised.
Let's talk
Send the origin, destination, cargo details and the date it has to arrive. We will come back with the routing options and an itemised quotation.
